James Sayce of the Tangiers

James was vocals/bass guitar of the Toronto punk-noir duo group “Tangiers”.

Tangiers are a Canadian indie rock band based in Toronto, Ontario. Tangier's music conveys prominent pop inclinations, played with an adamant vigour.

Lynda Sayce

Lynda is a lutenist and theorbo player, living near Oxford, United Kingdom, known also as a scholar of musical history and a writer on the history of the lute and theorbo. In recent times she has also been exploring the repertoire of the early guitar, partly in consequence of having chanced upon a fine 1860’s instrument in a charity shop.2 Lynda has released a CD, ‘Travels with my Lute’ (2008).

Philip Sayce

Born in Wales, but family moved to Toronto, Canada when Philip was two years old. His parents, Kenneth and Sheila, listened to music by Eric Clapton, Ry Cooder and Dire Straits, among many other artists. His parents’ love of music inspired his love for the guitar, and he also learned to play the piano and other instruments.
